Q.   What are the payment options available to the customer?
A.  
Currently Credit Card transactions are handled by CCNow. A leader in online credit card transaction service. CCNow accepts four types of credit cards:  Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover/Novus. All charges are billed to Customer credit cards by "CCNow". For any questions or clarifications in their billing statements customers can call customer service by a toll-free number (1-877-CCNOW-77).
     If i-Escrow service is requested by the customer then Master Card, Visa, American Express, Novus/Discover, Diners Club, and Carte Blanche are accepted.
      Additionally the customer may also pay via cheque, money order or a draft. However, this is likely to result in delayed shipment since the product will only be shipped after the cheque clearance takes place.

Q.  Are transactions made over the internet safe?
A.  
Yes.  Our shopping-cart software runs in Secure Mode on the customer's browser, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt sensitive data such as credit card numbers. If you don't feel comfortable sending credit card information over the Internet, you can fax the credit card payment form once you have filled it out. Buyers can also pay by cashiers check, money orders, personal checks and business checks and through bank/wire transfer. Bank fees incurred for bank/wire transfers will be charged to the appropriate party requesting such an option (contact us for more information on bank/wire transfers).

Q.  How does Escrow make buying over the Internet more Safe?
A. 
The service operates by holding a customer's credit funds in a trust account before releasing them to the seller. In order for the seller to receive payment, the buyer must receive the product and approve its condition. Buyers are allowed a set period of time (usually two days) upon receipt in which to respond to i-Escrow. This process ensures that each party honors the terms of the purchase agreement and makes buying over the internet safe. Learn more about the i-Escrow process.

Q.  How much delay is likely to be caused while paying via Check?
A.  
Payment by personal and/or business checks will incur a delay of 15
-20 business days from the receipt of the check to the delivery of goods. This period is for verification of funds. An additional amount of US$5.00 would be charged for check clearance whenever the customer opts to pay via cheque/money order.

Q.  What kind of shipping facilities are used for delivering the goods?
A.  
The shipment is made through postal
or courier service, depending on customer preferences. If I-Escrow service is requested then the shipment is always done through a courier service which allows for parcel tracking facilities and ensures product delivery within three to four working days.

Q.   What if the customer does not approve the received product?
A.  
Incase the customer is not satisfied with the product he may notify Oriental Traders. The product can be returned
undamaged within 30 days for a refund minus shipment and handling charges.

Q.   How does a Direct Order differ from an order placed through the "Buy-It" button?
A.   A "Direct order" should be made to Oriental Traders whenever paying via cheque or money order by pressing the "Order" button given at each page. Oriental Traders will ship the product after the cheque has been processed or credit clearance received. Incase of a cheque the processing usually takes 15-20 business days. The "Buy-it" button should be used whenever paying via credit card. In this case, shipment is made within 5-7 days.

Q.   What kind of customer satisfaction is provided in the case of  a direct order?
A.  
Incase the customer is not satisfied with the product at receipt, he may notify Oriental Traders immediately. The product may be returned for a refund; however, the customer would have to bear the shipping costs. Oriental Traders guarantee would apply under this situation.

Q.  What is meant by "Items In Auction Have Preference Over Website Sale."
A.  An item listed in auction would not be sold through the website till the time the auction has closed. In case the auction closes successfully subsequent orders would be dependant on the availability of stock.
